Performed QA on Trane Dual Fuel system. Tested both stages of the gas furnace and tested the heat pump. Tested system in AC mode. Checked all of programming on system and thermostat. Completed checklist form in system. Reviewed installation with homeowners. No additional follow up needed.
Performed QA on MagicPak through the wall system. Spoke with homeowner about installation. Tested the Heat Pump and Cooling on system. Installed the Safety Float switch on the EZ trap and wired in to the system. Tested the safety to make sure it was shutting the system down. Checked programming on system. Completed checklist form in system. *When we do the Six Month inspection for heating need to test the Electric Heat Kit. It’s a 10Kw Heat Kit on a 40 Amp Breaker. Also, we will need to bring a piece of Sheet Metal 28” x 6” to seal a gap on the top backside of the unit. This can be done the next time we are out. Homeowner is a mailman and has to take off work. Don’t need to make an extra visit.*

Completed AC tune up for 3.5 ton Amana AC system Replaced Aprilaire 313 filter Measured temperature split and static pressure Inspected EZ trap and drain. Inspected condition of indoor and outdoor coil Inspected wiring controls, electric motors and components Monitored R410A refrigerant pressures and diagnostics REME cell was expired before 2 year bulb lifetime. Determined ultimately that the ballast itself has failed. Removed REME including low voltage conductor and transformer and temporarily patched ductwork. We will return with new REME asap. Next week is better for Barbara’s availability System is operating well at this time. Homeowner paid for filter replacement today,
Completed AC tune up for 2 ton Amana AC system Inspected condition of both the indoor and outdoor coil; clean frame of coil and drain pain of mold. Left estimate for UV bulb system (2 year bulb) Measured temperature split (67-46=21°Good) and static pressure Ensured drains were clear and properly pitched. Left estimate for EZ trap. Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components including fan speed. Discussed and left email estimates for surge protectors. Verified integrity of compressor motors using megaohmeter. Monitored R410A refrigerant pressures and diagnostics: Good
Repiped intake and exhaust according to the fact that the homeowners plan on building a deck to the right. I left fittings unglued in case we need to pipe in a different way. There are (2) shower heads that have slightly low pressure since the boiler install was done. One of the shower heads is new including the plumbing (was replaced 3 weeks before we did boiler install). Remaining fixtures in house water pressures in good. She said she will investigate the strainers and shower heads herself. System operating well at this time.
Completed tune up for BOSCh Inverter 5 To 20SEER: Homeowner replaces 20x25x5 filter annually. I recommend replacing every 6 months. He uses MERV 16 filters for allergen control. He said he will replace more often now, Measured temperature split and static pressure. Inspected condition of indoor and outdoor coil Checked ez trap, drain and components Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components. Left estimates for surge protection for indoor blower motor. Also left estimate for APCOX whole home air purification system. Monitored R410A refrigerant pressures and diagnostics. 117/232; Subcooling 8° System is operating well at this time.
